Into the Future

When Fort Berthold Community College opened its doors in 1975, twenty students walked into the four trailers that made up the campus. Thirty years and over 300 graduates later, the campus is housed in a new building with state of the art classrooms overlooking the Missouri River. The school currently enrolls more than 300 students.

Tribal College Journal is the quarterly publication of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium. Since 1989, the journal has served the nation’s tribally-chartered institutions by facilitating communication among administrators and faculty members and providing a publishing outlet for exceptional work by some of their students.
