Years ago the tribes the Crows and the Nez Perce were allied and began to show something which again shows up in the L&C story is children, and what they used to do is, sometimes that they would trade their wives with the Crow, there has been no registry, well fur trapper diaries, fur trappers that were saying, "Wow, these Nez Perce and Crows are really close." The children that are conceived at this time period are a tangible truth of ally-ship, tangible proof of a partnership.
