Riva Feshbach was Exhibits Manager at the Newberry Library from 1999-2009. In this role she oversaw all aspects of the Library's exhibits program, from project development to production. Riva curated Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: Beyond Sherlock Holmes (April through July 2003), and was project director of the Newberry's exhibit, Lewis and Clark in Indian Country (2005), which was supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Park Service. Riva's publications include: From Forest to Park: America's Heritage of Trees (exhibition catalogue, 1997) and "Four Shona Artists" in Shona Sculpture: Four Contemporary Artists from Zimbabwe (exhibition catalogue, 1994). She holds an MA in art history from the University of Oregon, and an MS in library and information science from the University of Illinois.
