The Tudor Royal Court

Princess Elizabeth was born into a royal court famous throughout Europe for its splendor. Henry VIII was proud of his intellectual skills and he surrounded himself with men of accomplishment, such as the poet Sir Thomas Wyatt and the great scholar Sir Thomas More, who became his Lord Chancellor.
