Birth of a Princess

Anne Boleyn was five months pregnant when her marriage to Henry VIII was legally recognized and she was crowned Queen of England. The birth of their child was eagerly anticipated, and when a daughter was born, she was named Elizabeth after Henry's mother. But Henry himself was disappointed, and continued to want a son.
