Twelfth Night
A production of Shakespeare's Globe, London

Master of the Play, Tim Carroll. Starring Mark Rylance.

Location: Chicago Shakespeare Courtyard Theater
November 26-December 14, 2003

Acclaimed by the British press as "one of the best reasons for being in London" in 2002, the Globe's "original practices" production of Twelfth Night is the company's most historically authentic production to date. With its all-male cast, starring Globe Artistic Director Mark Rylance as Olivia, the Globe's Twelfth Night recreates the conventions, clothing, music and culture of the play's first recorded performance in 1602.
